ASCLD / LAB
There is an ASCLD/LAB–International Assessor Training Course (Breath Alcohol Calibration) scheduled in Irving, TX, March 22-26, 2010.
There is a $475 fee for the assessor training. This registration fee includes a take home copy of ISO/IEC 17025. Upon serving as an assessor for an ASCLD/LAB-International assessment for the first time, the laboratory will be credited $400 toward its next annual accreditation fee.
Both the Assessor Training and the Preparation Course provide a detailed review of the ISO 17025 requirements and the ASCLD/LAB International Supplemental requirements.
Appropriate candidates for the assessor training course are those who intend to become active assessors in the ASCLD/LAB-International program. If you are not interested in becoming an assessor, but want a better understanding of the ISO requirements in preparation for International accreditation, the ASCLD/LAB-International Preparation Course may be a better choice.
Anyone wishing to attend this class should complete the registration form and send it in to ASCLD / LAB as soon as possible to reserve a seat. Once the registration form has been received, ASCLD / LAB will send you a confirmation email with the specific course location information. Payment is not due at the time of registration, but should be received prior to the class. Please do not make travel arrangements until you have received confirmation of registration.
